Exciting times at Trinity! The Accessibility Project has started!
Thanks to a very generous donation, Trinity will soon have an elevator from the parking lot to the sanctuary, new accessible doors to the chapel from the sanctuary and a new platform lift to Asbury Hall.
The Trustees have been working hard planning the project and securing a contractor and are excited to share the progress.
The construction is expected to be completed by January 1, 2026 and the elevator is scheduled to be installed by the end of March 2026.
Due to the construction the parking lot door and stairway will be closed for construction. This means the Hale Room and Community Building (front of the building) entrances will need to be used to enter the building during week days. The Chapel and Sanctuary entrances will be open on Sunday mornings.
Update as of October 24: Progress continues at a good pace on our accessibility project. Since our last update: Forms have been built and concrete has been poured for the footings at the Vincent Hall parking lot entry. The elevator pit inside the building’s Junior Achievement Room reached full depth with walls and floor formed and poured. Work at the chapel lift area has continued with additional engineered drawings, backfill, and relocation of Comcast’s equipment box.
We will be updating the pictures on this page when there is new progress to share. Please note that as we add new pictures, we will remove some of the older ones.
