Revitalize CDE/GreenFit Springfield

What:  Revitalize CDC/Green Fit

When:  Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Please plan to arrive as close to 8:00 a.m. as possible.  Lunch will be provided.

Where:  Meet at the Springfield Boys and Girls Club--481 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 for Registration, t-shirts, and a pep rally.  We will then go to the worksite.

Revitalize CDC focusses on assisting veterans, the elderly, and people with special needs bring their homes back to healthy, livable conditions. Those of you who have worked on these homes over the past 14 years and know what a rewarding experience this is.

 
We are looking for a group of volunteers from Trinity to join hundreds of other volunteers on April 25 on selected homes in need of general repairs, yardwork, landscaping, painting and some rehabilitation. All supplies will be provided, and an update  on the scope of work will be provided prior to the event. Over 600 volunteers will be working on 15-20 homes in the Springfield area that qualify to receive our assistance. This is a great team effort.

Some helpful hints to make registration easier:

1.  When you go to the above link, click on "Register Here" 

2.  Each volunteer must complete a separate form.  At the bottom of the form, it asks what organization you are volunteering with.  There is an alphabetical drop down menu.  Scroll through and select "Trinity Methodist Church"

3.  Click on "Next" at the bottom of the page.

5.  Answer the additional questions and click "Register" at the bottom of the page.
