Lenten Luncheons and Mid-day Services
Trinity has a long-standing tradition of serving lunches on Fridays during Lent. We welcome members, friends, and neighbors to join us for our delicious homemade food and fellowship. Our luncheons feature clam chowder or soup du jour, lobster roll or other sandwiches, and a variety of homemade pies.
Lunch is served in Asbury Hall every Friday during Lent beginning February 16 and continuing through March 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Take-out orders are available by calling 413-221-5399 on Friday mornings. There will be a 50-cent charge per take-out order to help defray the cost of packaging.
Proceeds from the luncheons go to support Trinity’s local and global mission and outreach projects.
Friday Mid-day Services
Trinity also offers mid-day services on Fridays during Lent. This year’s messages will be based on Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” This verse is from “The Beatitudes” and part of Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount. Each week a different worship leader will explore the meaning of this verse.
The services also feature a weekly soloist.
We invite everyone to take time to join us in the Chapel every Friday from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. beginning February 16 and continuing through March 30.
