Confirmation Sunday, June 1, 2025

Over the past year, fourteen young people at Trinity have participated in Confirmation. This year-long journey asked them to think deeply about the Christian faith, the Methodist tradition, and their own place within the church. Through study and contemplation, the young people have grappled with key concepts like grace, sin, and salvation. The confirmation program at Trinity consisted of monthly worship, communion, and discussion. To compliment those monthly sessions, confirmands were asked to participate in electives which included a trip to the art museum, service projects, a silent retreat, Bible study, and even a trip to Boston. Their journey culminated in Confirmation Sunday when each of these young people publicly professed their faith and joined the church. We are so delighted by these young people and grateful for all the gifts, passion, and curiosity they bring to our faith community.
