Revitalize CDC 2019 Recap
On April 27, members of Trinity joined with other volunteers from the greater Springfield area for the annual Revitalize CDC workday. This year Trinity worked on the home of a World War II veteran's family on Marshall Street. They demolished a garage and cleaned up the over-grown yard.
This annual event helps low to moderate income residents of Springfield who need help keeping their houses and yards in good condition. This includes families with children, veterans, and folks with disabilities. They choose one or two streets each year and concentrate on the homes in those areas in an attempt to make them more energy efficient and to create a healthy and sustainable living environment.
These pictures of Trinity's efforts were contributed by Trinity member Brian Crawford. We're grateful that he was able to take pictures in addition to working on the project. Additional pictures can be found on Trinity's photo blog.
