Holy Week and Easter

After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, Trinity was able to return to a full schedule of Lenten, Holy Week, and Easter activities and services.  The theme for our spiritual journey through Lent was, “Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith.”

Lenten services included a special Night of Worship, “Journey to the Cross,” and mid-day Friday worship services.  An intergenerational group assembled palm crosses for distribution on Palm Sunday.

Holy Week included dinner church on Maundy Thursday, Lenten luncheon on Good Friday, an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, and an Easter breakfast before worship. Our Easter worship service incorporated all the choirs along with instrumentalists, included a special Children’s Message, and concluded with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus.

These are some pictures from this year's Holy Week and Easter celebrations.  Click on a picture to enlarge it.

You can listen to the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus here.
