Boar's Head Festival 2027

The dates for Trinity's 2027 Boar's Head Festival are January 8-10.

NEW TIMES FOR SUNDAY’S SHOWS – Sunday’s first performance will now start at 1:15 PM and the second performance will begin at 5:00 PM.   Prepfest will begin 45 minutes before both shows.  

Patron Ticket Orders will be accepted beginning October 27th.  Patron letters were mailed on October 23rd and include a form to be returned.  If you did not receive a patron letter and order form, you can access and print them here.  Soon after the form and patron contribution are received, a code will be emailed to allow access to the Eventbrite site to purchase tickets.  

Once you have received your Patron Code via email, you can order tickets from our ticket page. Please read all information about ordering the tickets and be sure you have selected the correct performance.

The Boar's Head Festival is an annual Epiphany celebration that commemorates a medieval festival from England, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.  The festival is preceded by a period of preparation as the audience arrives.  During this period there are opportunities for the audience to interact with the cast as the sanctuary is prepared for the festival.

The festival opens with a tiny sprite entering with a lighted candle to symbolize Christ as the Light of the world and continues with the procession of townspeople, dancers, and musicians celebrating the possibilities of peace, hope, and reconciliation in anticipation of the birth of Christ.  The celebration moves through the journey of the shepherds and the three kings, searching for the Christ Child, and concludes with the celebrants kneeling in adoration as the Te Denum stained glass window shines over the cathedral and blesses everyone with the Christmas story.

The music, dancing, costuming, and pageantry makes this a "must see" Christmas event.
