Revitalize CDE/GreenFit Springfield

Team Trinity will be participating in Revitalize CDC on April 27.  This is an annual event where members of the community come together to rebuild/repair/landscape yards for 1 block of homes in 1 neighborhood in 1 day with the help of over 100 sponsors and 1000 volunteers.    This year the selected location is the Memorial Square area in the North End of Springfield. 

Revitalize CDC focusses on assisting veterans, the elderly and people with special needs bring their homes back to healthy, livable conditions.  Trinity has been one of the event sponsors and provided a team of volunteers for the last 12 years.  It is a most rewarding experience.  We are looking for a group of volunteers from Trinity to participate again this year.  You must be at least 14 years of age.

Some helpful hints to make registration easier:

1.  When you go to the above link, click on "Register Here" 

2.  At the top of the page click on "Tickets and Donations" at the top of the page and choose 1 from the drop-down menu.  Every volunteer has to fill out a separate form.   You do not have to make a donation to volunteer but you have to click on this link to register.

3.  Click on "Continue" at the bottom of the page.

4.  This takes you to the registration form.  After completing name, address, etc., select "Trinity Methodist Church" from the alphabetical list of teams

5.  Answer the additional questions and click "Register" at the bottom of the page.

The registration page shows a map and the address of the Community Pharmacy parking lot on Chestnut St. where all volunteers will sign in on the day of the event and get their assignments.
