August at Trinity

During the month of August we are collecting canned vegetables and fruit, tuna fish, soups, peanut butter and jelly, snacks, cereal, crackers, rice, and other non-perishable food items to be distributed to our neighbors in need at our Neighborhood Block Party.  You are invited to bring these items when you come to worship and leave them in the totes at the back of the sanctuary.  Please join us in helping those who are food insecure in our community.

The Worship Committee chose the theme of "Mountains and Valleys" for the coming year.  Although we will officially kick off the theme on Trinity Sunday in September, we are asking you to share images and stories that symbolize your mountain-top moments, or times in the valley: any of the various experiences along the path of your life journey.

Sundays through the end of August, please bring your image or story to the mountain art installation in the sanctuary.

If you have questions or comments, please contact Ellen Lutz, Worship Committee Chair by email: worship@trinityspringfield.org.
